Ärzte statt Böller

Preprogramming of the "Ärzte statt Böller" New Year's Eve 2006 concert of the German band "Die Ärzte" in Cologne.

Because at the time of the preprogramming the set list of the concert was far from being settled, numerous scenes and effects were preprogrammed. On the site after the setlist was fixed the show was composed by picking those scenes and effects. That approach had the additional advantage that responding to the spontanous songs the light designer could fastly announce which scenes the operators should invoke.

The simulation included amongst others 50× Robe ColorSpot 1200, 25× Robe ColorWash 1200, 32× Coemar iWash 575, 16× Comear ParLite LED, 24× 8-Lites und 24× 4-Lites Molefay, 25× ETC Irideon AR500, 46× ELP60 Powerstick, 36× PAR64, 2× Mainlight SoftLED Curtain, 2× LED VideoWalls 6m × 4m

The simulation included amongst others 24× Martin MAC 550 Spot, 24× Martin MAC600 Wash, 32× JB VaryLED 3*84, 34× 6er Bars PAR64, 24× 4er ACL Bars, 20× 8-Lights (mostly with color changers), 11× Martin Atomics ...

Wacken 2007 - Blind Guardian

Preprogramming of the performance of Blind Guardian on the True Metal Stage at Wacken Open Air 2007

The light designer and operator of the band had an established show from the preceding tour and other festivals. With the aid of the preprogramming he could adapt that show to the festival rig far better than he would have been able to in the short time he had onsite.

The programming simulated amongst others 36× Martin Mac 700 Wash, 22× Martin Mac 2000 Spot, 46× 6er Bars PAR64, 34× 4er Bars ACL, 29× 8-Lites (mostly with color changers), 17× 4-Lite Strips, 24× Martin Atomics, 48m² G-LEC PhantomFrames, 20 6m cloth pillars lit by Coemar ParLites, ...

With the aid of the created visualisations the lighting designer Dennis Nähr could present his design concept to the agency.

Die Ärzte - Es wird eng Tour

Far ahead of the tour we created visualisations for the lighting designer so that he could see how well his concept of several moveable layers is working.

Before the start of the tour a preprogramming was done based on the final light and video plan. The simulation contained beside others: 47× Robe ColorSpot 1200, 30× Robe ColorWash 700, 35× Coemar ParLite, 21× 4-Lites, 19× ACL-Bars, 16×Atomic 3000, 3× Panasonic 103" Plasma, 10× LED-Mirror-Walls

Auch dieses Mal haben wir weit vor Tourbeginn für den Lichtdesigner Visualisierungen seiner Ideen erstellt. Auch ein Preprogramming kurz vor Tourbeginn wurde durchgeführt.

Far ahead of the start of the tour we did visualizations of the lighting designer's ideas. Of course a preprogramming session was done shortly before the tour start.

Imagine you could long before the first build-up of a production see all visual elements like light, video, pyro and kinetics in photo realistic quality and control and program it in real time. With the help of ESP Vision we provide you this potential. ESP Vision gives us the ability to simulate all parts of a complex show beforehand in virtual reality. Therefore complex systems can be used much more effective and cost-efficient. By the use of modern technology the line between reality and simulations becomes blurred. Demanding systems and requirements can be controlled with ESP in realtime and the times needed to do high resolution visualisations or rendered film sequences shrink to a minimum.

Dare to take the step into the future of show programming and test the offerings of the ESP network. If you have further questions don't hestitate to contact us.
